Riot Rye is a baked goods shop and offers sourdough baking lessons in County Tipperary, Ireland. The school is run by Joe Fitzmaurice & Julie Lockett who have a long history with the whole-food/vegetarian movement. Members of the Real Bread Campaign.

Riot Rye offers a Sourdough Course Level 1 for individuals new to baking sourdough bread, as well as those with some prior experience. This course provides a comprehensive and fundamental introduction to sourdough baking.
The course takes place over one day, from 11 am to 6 pm, and is limited to 8 participants. The cost per person is €125, including a delicious vegetarian lunch made with fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. Participants will also have access to organic and fair-trade tea and coffee throughout the day.

Please Note: Riot Rye is not open to the public and does not sell bread from the bakery.

Participants will receive a fresh sourdough starter to take home with them and a selection of bread they have baked during the course.
